With a long handle, this groundbreaker spade is extremely strong - it has been tested to a breaking strain of 100kg, which is 82% stronger than the British standard! Crafted from certified hardwood and finished with a comfortable 'Y' grip, the handle has a double riveted base for additional strength. The stainless steel head is highly resistant to rust, and the pointed & sharpened spade head allows you to dig deep in even the toughest soil - making gardening less strenuous! If it meets a stone or root when digging, it simply passes the obstruction to the side.
